When I was first told I have to cut out gluten entirely, I thought about all the yummy things I wouldn’t be able to eat. When I fist laid my eyes on a recipe similar to this one I was extremely sceptical. Who eats avocado in dessert?
I promise you – if you like dark chocolate – you’ll love this. My dad still believes I’ve melted dark chocolate and given that to him.
You will need:
(Serves 4)
2 x Avocados (Not too ripe)
125ml Almond Milk
20g Almond Butter
3tbs Agave/Honey/your choice of sweetener
40g Cocoa Powder
1tsp Vanilla paste/essence
I like to add:
Cream
Granadilla Pulp
(You can add anything you like! The sourness of the granadilla cuts through the richness of this dessert – it is sure to kill all those cravings.)
All you need to do, is blend the avocado, almond milk, almond butter, agave, cocoa and vanilla until it forms a smooth pudding.
Scrape down the sides of the mixer with a spatula so that all of the ingredients can be properly incorporated.
I then whip up some cream and prepare my glasses with a swipe of almond butter up the side.
And there you have it! The most delicious, most healthy, dessert you will ever have.
