a wonderful weekend.

This weekend was amazing.

(If you don’t want to read my babble… find out below where you can get this look!)

On Saturday I went with my mum and brother to food lovers market in town. We started the day by looking at second-hand classical music at Artscape – they are there every last Saturday of the month. You can get CD’s from R50! (as I am writing this, my mum and I are actually listening to Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 6 “Pathetique”) They told us that if they don’t have what we are looking for then they will find it for us.

We then walked over to food lovers market. We got 500ml juices for R30 each – which is a pretty good deal considering how much you pay at other places. Our food journey never ended there though… we headed in to where all the fresh food is made. My mum and brother got chicken mayo baguettes and I got a chia seed pudding with cocoa nibs and goji berries. It was absolutely delicious! It’s like having dessert for breakfast – but healthy.

After that, we got coffee cups at Seattle Coffee Co. We got their glass mugs (my mum and I have been searching for a glass travel mug all over and finally found them) and got free coffee with them. We were so full of liquids that our stomachs hurt. Now, every time we go to Seattle Coffee – if we have our mugs with us, we get 10% off our order.

On Sunday, my mum, dad, brother and I went for breakfast at the Company Gardens. Since they have re-done it – it’s so nice. Way cleaner and much better service than before. The weather was wonderful! The past couple days have been like Summer plonked in the middle of Winter.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

This outfit is so comfortable and super affordable – but still makes a statement. I got these leggings at Pick ‘n Pay clothing – I am not usually a leggings girl as I feel a bit naked – but these ones seem to hold me in all the right places and stay put – rather than constantly sliding down and not hugging to my bum cheeks.

I searched for ages for the perfect pair of black boots. I wanted to have a pointed toe and a heel that wasn’t too high – so that I can comfortably walk around all day. I found them at last on Superbalist! I managed to get one of the last pairs.

Let me know what you think! xx
