I know I usually post about Fashion on a Monday – but I made the most delicious, healthy chocolate pots over the weekend – that I had to share with you all.
(Find the link to my video below!)
I think the most important thing to remember when you start to take health seriously: is moderation.
I am a sweet obsessed, sugar-tooth monster! So what I do instead, is try and make healthy alternatives – despite nothing ever being able to taste as good as Cadbury’s Top Deck.
This is a version of the healthy chocolate pot recipe found in the Low Carb Creed by Sally Ann Creed. I went to a Thermomix talk where she was the spokesperson. She confirmed for me that everything must be eaten in moderation. Yes, sugar must be avoided – which generally includes carbs such as pizza, pasta and certain vegetables (which I don’t do but if you aim for weight-loss it is advised by her.) I spoke to her about eating oats, and she said it’s not advised in her book, but if it’s working for me – then stick with it! I love that she was all about everyone working out what works for them.
So for these chocolate pots I used:
- 100g Dark Chocolate
- 45ml Coconut Oil
- 30ml Oil
- 5ml Vanilla Extract
- 400ml Coconut Milk
- 2 Large Eggs
Check out my video for the recipe here:
Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think!

You definitely should! Have it with some berries or a little bit of maple syrup if you find you need some sweetness 🙂

I read Delicious, Healthy and Chocolate, three of my favourite things. I was surprised that Sally supports the ‘if it works for you – stick with it’ so many nutritionists give you the ‘you have to eat this and do that’ and lack a understanding that everyone is different, I’ll definitely be looking into her work and I will definitely be making these healthy chocolate pots! Thank you for sharing this with us all!
