Today marks the final day of 2017 and, by tonight, many of us will be correcting our 7’s with a ‘S’ like shape to make an 8.

Chances are pretty high that most of us have yet to achieve our new years resolutions of losing those last few kilos or cutting out carbs or learning to play the piano….

There have been many horror events – from too many shootings, disastrous hurricanes and bombings to Spongebob (Stephen Hillenburg) getting ALS. For each of these tragedies, humanity has somehow still managed to shine through: Southwest Airlines flew a plane of puppies in August of this year to help them escape Hurricane Harvey, Scientists invented a spray gun that shoots stem cells to help burn victims regrow their skin without scars (find out more here) and Israeli scientists announced a new treatment for ALS.

2017 has been a busy year, especially for the Kardashians, with Kloe, Kylie AND Kim pregnant. For me, I feel I have achieved what I set out to do for the year of 2017: from officially getting a degree (Bachelor or Arts specialising in Screen Production) to starting this very blog (which started as something I wanted to do for fun and has evolved into something that I want to somehow convert into a career.)

To be honest, I can’t even remember my new years resolution of 2017. I think by the time 2016 was over – the year of terror for us Grimbly’s – I couldn’t be bothered to think of one. Now, my goal for 2018 is working out what I can make of 2ohClock and seeing where my career will take me.
