The 8th of November 2018: the date that everyone will be rushing off to buy garments from the Moschino X H&M collaboration.
Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino announced the collaboration at Moschino’s annual Coachella party. H&M, the Swedish retailer, told Vogue, that the woman’s collection will have about 45 pieces and many accessories – prices will range from $25 to $300.
Scott is known for his incorporation of consumer brands and icons such as Barbie, My Little Pony and McDonald’s. The designer loves to play with colour and has become famous for his edgy and fun aesthetic.

“I am so excited about Moschino x H&M,” Scott said. “My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do.”
Scott told Vogue: “There’s a silver sequinned parka dress, denim pieces are all twisted into something else. Puffers and jackets are reconfigured into cropped things or double-long things. There’s a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling, like a hockey jersey with a train.”
H&M first started collaborating with designers in 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld. Since then, fashionistas have always kept an eye out on what designers will be collaborating with H&M.
Are you excited about this collaboration? I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these pieces!
